What is the Board doing? Why haven't I heard anything?
- Immediately after the last registration date, your Region Board begins the process of putting the teams together for the upcoming season.
- When this is completed, the # of teams will be determined and the coaches will be notified.
When do coaches get their teams?
- To determine the # of teams, we need to have coaches complete the registration and certification process, which is reviewed and verified locally.
- Not all divisions form at the same time. The very young teams, in particular, tend to be notified the week before the season starts, due to the large number of coaches that require training, especially in the Fall.
When do players get called?
- Nowadays, a call is generally replaced with an email from the coach(es) to the team.
- The coaches will contact the players parents usually the week before the season starts.
- They will give you all the information you will need in regards to practice times and location.
- U12+: Each coach sets his/her own practice days, time and location. The practice fields are located throughout our region.
- U6, U7, U8, U10: Saturday programming is held at the same time and location for all children.
It's after Sept. 1 (Fall) or April 1 (Spring), and I have not been called. What do I do?
- Please do not panic. Not all teams begin practice at the same time.
- The very young teams, in particular, do not always begin practice the first week.
- Also some coaches may be out of town.
- If your child has not been called by the Thursday before the first game, you may contact the Regional Commissioner.
What does my child need?
- You will need to obtain equipment
- You will need to pick up your uniform at parents night.
- The registration fee includes national dues, soccer supplemental accident insurance, game scheduling, and training costs for volunteers.
Can i get a refund?
- Please review our refund page for eligibility and instructions.
- Please email us as soon as practical regarding a withdrawal so we can re-arrange the teams accordingly.
How often are practices and games?
- It depends on the players division:
- U6, U7, U8: Saturday only program
- U10+: Saturday practice, Sunday game, Optional weekday practice
