A special thanks to Max, Kyu (with his wife Melody), David (with his wife Ina and son Noah) for joining Chris in attendance at the AYSO EXPO conference this weekend in Philadelphia.
As part of the EXPO, the following regional awards were accepted:
- 2015 Regional Assessment: Platinum!
- 10-year anniversary: Mark Rubeo
- 5-year anniversary: Chris Mattoni
To put things in perspective and illustrate how difficult it is to achieve this Platinum milestone, we are the only AYSO region in NY to be recognized at this level; and one of only two regions (the other being Trumbull CT) in the entire Section 3, which consists of New York, New Jersey and New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont), with nearly 40,000 players, playing in 6 Areas with approx. 90 Regions.
