We know you want to volunteer, here's how you do it :
1) Create an account on Blue Sombrero (This Site !)
When creating the account, select “I am a team coach or other team personnel” (this will include referees – including youth or adult referees, and youth or adult VIP buddies):
2) Once you have registered login and go to my account then on the left side of the page - select Volunteer
3) CLICK AROUND TO SELECT/CONTINUE AS FOLLOWS:

FIND "VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION" IN LIST AND CLICK TWICE
FIND "VIP BUDDY" OR SIMILAR AND CLICK TWICE
4) Complete ALL required info (indicated by red asterisk), and any optional info as required. Click on the info green circle to display details on any items. At the very end, read the “Waiver”, and click where the gray “No” is indicated to change to “Yes” to accept the Waiver agreement.
5) Continue to request to e-sign (Referee role sample):
Full registration form is displayed, with all info except drivers license detail shown. Check for accuracy.
Scroll down to bottom to type name as “electronic signature”
Check the box “I agree to use an electronic signature “, and select either Adult or Parent/Guardian (for youth volunteers).
There is an option to print the form once complete (it will likely open a new browser tab).
The site will automatically do a background check through Verified Volunteers, and once complete, you are finished.
If you edit anything on your original application, it will likely force the e-signature process again (be sure to follow through all of the steps to complete.
If you are a youth volunteer, print a copy and keep it with you on the field or during AYSO activities, as it servers as authorization and medical release.
